Chef Bio
Our chef Jean-Marc Salvagno hails from Avignon, France where he owned a critically acclaimed restaurant featuring Provencal dishes. He has been a professional Chef since graduating from Brevet d‘Études Professionnelles de Cuisine in 1988.
Jean-Marc has been a member of the French Sommeliers Union since 1993. Exceptionally educated in this vocation, he has attended many wine tasting events in the Toronto region.
From its inception, L’Auberge de France was seen as a place where Jean-Marc could work to create a unique culinary experience for the population of his new hometown.

Sheranda and Jean Marc are building a life here in Belleville and are active in the community. Sheranda will handle all the personal details for your catering event to make it special. You can count on her to make your Saturday visit memorable at L’auberge de France and is an active participant to the life of L’Auberge De France and it’s prosperity.
